THE LORD HE IS GOD!
In a day of so much technology, advancement, and prosperity, entertainment at the touch of a button, automobiles filled with comfort, multiroom homes with access to every bodily pleasure available, prescription drugs to alleviate every kind of pain or unwanted emotion, options in churches and styles of worship, to go or not to go makes no difference… YET, there is a longing in the eyes and hearts of people all around us. There are plenty of gods and things to worship, but still, the search goes on for that long lasting, contented, peace that “passeth all understanding.” Even there are those who have the Holy Spirit on the inside yet have lost the freshness of their first encounters with the sweetness and the longings and pursuit of the one who has filled their inner being with love, happiness, singing, and desire to spend every waking moment in thoughts about their beloved Jesus. Where and when did it wain and grow dim? When did it become distant in the fading light of one pleasure after another and one carnal selfish desire for more of this world until you’ve have found yourself sitting in darkness? There are those who have been saved and have selfishly found contentment in this world and become complacent. They do not have to fear eternity without Christ yet continue on without any care of sweet worship with their Master and Lord. There is no desire to be a witness of Him. They are careless of places they go, use sinful language, watch illicit entertainment, have secret sins, and little or no kind of efforts to teach even family members of the necessity of going to the house of the Lord and hearing truth preached. Where is He to be found for those who do not know exactly what will fill the void? The lost are in search of, they not what or who, but need a voice, a conversation with one to help them get acquainted with the God of Peace. May we, Christ indwelt ones, awake out of our slumber and selfish carelessness, to the awareness of the shortness of this life and the very near possible events that will close our window of opportunity, to spend time with our Precious Savior and beloved
Sacrifice. He it is that will take our searching’s of MORE and turn them into contentment of multiple friends such as Love, Joy, Contentment, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: the delicious fruit of the Spirit. Truth flows from the Word of God and is our resource for all inward hungering to know “The Lord, He is God, The I AM, The Alpha the Omega. In every page, Christ will be found: our Way, the Truth, and The Life. Seek out those who are searching. Seek those who can be found through yours and my voice, and the Spirit-filled life that will show a Christ-likeness and point men and women, boys and girls to everlasting life. As we continue our journeys each week, and in each town, we find there to be lost, discontented, complacent, troubled minds, addictions, pleasure seekers, hypocrites and on and on, all of who are in great need of The Lord, but none who cannot receive a miracle of Grace. Christian, consider whether the first letter of your god is started with a small g or a capital G, whether there are many gods or whether there is only one GOD, let’s examine our hearts as to the purpose we have been put on this earth and given opportunity to
know the one true and living God, the man Christ Jesus. We will give an answer to what we do with what we have been given, and who we proclaim, and how we live our lives in view of our Sacrifice and Savior. Don’t waste a moment of time out of fellowship with our Beloved Lamb. He is more precious than gold. Our lost friend, if you are searching something or someone to fill the void in your inner soul and heart, search no longer for Jesus will come and give you the free gift of Himself which is the forgiveness of your sins and the reality that you are made clean and will eternally be acceptable to God Almighty because of the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. You must want this miraculous, divine exchange that takes your sins away and gives you His righteousness. Repent, Ask, and Believe He has the power to come inside you and make a new creature out of you. We pray those who read this will do some heart searching and run fast in pursuit of our Beloved Jesus.
